ワンドの9 Nine of Wands
Waite はワンドの9を、杖に寄りかかり敵を待ち受けるように身構える人物と、柵のように並ぶ八本の杖の図とし、対抗における力を主要な意味とし、遅延や中断、延期がそれに付随するとしている。逆位置には障害、逆境、災難を挙げ、追加の意味では一般的に悪いカードと記している。
