ペンタクルのエース Ace of Pentacles
Waite はペンタクルのエースを、雲から現れた手がペンタクルを掲げる図柄とし、正位置の意味に完全な満足、至福、恍惚、速やかな知らせ、黄金を挙げている。逆位置には富の悪しき側面や悪い知らせ、また巨万の富を置き、いずれにせよ繁栄と快適な物質的状況を示すが、それが所有者に有利かどうかは正逆によるとしている。§4 では「すべてのカードの中で最も好ましいもの」と記している。
正位置の意味
完全な満足、至福、恍惚。また速やかな知らせ〔speedy intelligence〕。黄金。
