カップの3 Three of Cups
Waite はカップの3を、庭園で乙女たちが杯を掲げて誓い合う図とし、正位置では事柄が豊かさと完成と歓楽のうちに結末を迎えること、幸福な結果、勝利、成就、慰め、癒しを意味するとしている。逆位置には迅速、達成、終わりのほか、肉体的享楽の過度の側面と感覚の快楽を挙げ、追加の意味では軍人の予期せぬ昇進と、逆位置に慰め、治癒、事の終わりを記している。
